Introduction

Cafezinho is a traditional program of Radio Pop Rock FM in Porto Alegre, it comprises eight-renowned communicators in the scenario gaucho discussing the main news of today, human behaviour, the future of music and making great grace with their jokes, their interaction with listeners and good-humor characteristic of its members. The talk show go to air live from Monday to Friday in two daily editions, one 13 and the other for 18 hours, and a special with the best moments is shown on Saturdays at 13 hours with reprise on Sunday to 18 hours.

History

The program came in November 1997 in the newly opened Radio Pop Rock FM when four of its communicators took to the air, a well-humored conversation. At the same time many listeners were asked to positively demonstrated that they repeat the dose. So that day, without any disclosure or high expectations on the part of its presenters, the program was born. The attraction began its history with the presence of Alexander Fetter, Arthur de Faria, Celso Garavelo, Mauro Borba and the laughs of Carlos Couto, the creator, who was later surprised with the size that came with success. The program, which is either at the beginning had a name, was reaching rates never before achieved by a programme of radio in RS putting Radio Pop Rock at the top of the most heard in time. So, with the acclaim of the public and with many advertisers want to invest, was launched a second edition of the talk show, Café of Five. The programme for some time also were shown by TV Channel 20, which would guarantee the widest audience of issuing.

Some time after time to hinder a more integral, Mauricio Amaral which was very well received by their now, listeners. In 2000 Celso Garavelo left the radio and in their place estreava Carlos Eugênio Nunes, the Cagê, who also won the approval of the general public. And that was the team that was ten years in the air, with the right stories in newspapers and interview in a great vehicle for television, TVCOM (of RBS). But in 2007 the same RBS that helped spread the program now wanted to buy, and so did at least in part: the Network South Australia in a strong reaction to the growth of Pop Rock "invited" Alexandre Fetter, and Mauricio Amaral for Cagê integrate the team's FM Radio Atlantis and the programme Pretinho Base (whose name is a direct reference to the Coffee), which took by surprise the audience of the program, since they have always been concerned to demonstrate a strong rivalry with the RBS Group.

But the radio of Ulbra (also known as the Pop Rock), after losing part of the hearing of the programme for its competition, called Simone Cabral, Adriano Domingues, Paulo Inchauspe and Eron Dal Molin to occupy the vacant spaces and thus form what your listeners called the Cafezinho New Generation.
